Hello fellow science lovers!
My name is Dalila and inevitably , yes I know you’re probably trying to figure out how to pronounce my name correctly at this moment in time so I just wanted to say that it’s an Italian name and I forgive you. It’s pronounced *Dah-Leh-Lah* by the way. Both my parents are Italian but I live in the UK although I can actually speak Italian as it was my first language.I am also learning Spanish at school.
And I’m sorry to say but if you’re not a science a lover then why are you here? Just kidding, everyone’s welcome , we’re all friends here.☺😚
Ever since I can remember, I have always questioned how things work , why and how the universe, in all its splendid beauty, came about. Moreover , how this resulted in the origin of life appearing on a small planet, 149.6 million km from a medium sized , yellow dwarf , main sequence star and as a result allowing the basic chemical compositions ,such as amino acids and water to form , which are essential for life to appear. Inevitably causing our species of Homosapiens to roam about for a mere 200,000 years until present day in Earth’s ancient 4.5 billion years of age. Humans haven’t been here very long. If you imagined all of Earth’s history compressed into 24 hours humans have existed for approximately 1 minute , at 04:00 the origin of life appeared , at 14:08 single celled algae appeared and at 23:00 dinosaurs appeared.
Anyways, I wanted to start this blog as a way to share my love of science with other science lovers.Discussions on anything and everything are welcome here ☺.
I’m not an expert though . I’m just a 15 year old GCSE student currently studying triple sciences at school(and other subjects too of course). However, I do wish to pursue a career in science when I’m older as I’m interested in the Physics , Mathematics and Chemistry fields. My dream would be to become an astronomer. It always has been and although I could change my mind , I highly doubt it. My dad is so happy that his daughter is doing something he was never able to do in his youth as he never got the chance to do further education. My Mum , however , says she doesn’t mind what I do with my life although she wanted me to become a Doctor and to be honest I think she still does. I used to want to become one but I realised what I truly am passionate about so I’ll just stick to it.
I’m so glad I’m not the only crazy science lover as my friend Alifia is a massive science lover too even though she’s more into Chemistry and Biology whilst I’m more passionate for Physics. Hey Alifia I know you’ll read this later ! 😂
It’s so promising to see teenagers interested in serious issues and topics related to science.
*STAY CURIOUS*😉 🔬🔭📚🌌🌍🌊🌋🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌅🌄🌇🌃🌞🌈💧⚡🌂☔🌞🌝🌙❄*Goes through emojis picking out which ones are related to science because clearly that normal* 😂😚
